What better way to experience Atlanta than through the eyes of those who love her best? Dive into everything: where to visit, what to do, where to grab a bite (and a beer), handpicked by one of the Marketwake teammates. Best part: You’ll learn a little bit about each one of us along the way!
The views! Our skyline is beautiful, especially from the Jackson Street bridge. We're also surrounded by hiking trails that have great views: Arabia Mountain, Stone Mountain, and East Palisades are some of my favorites that are nearby.
I love going to speakeasies because they always have the best cocktails. Atlanta has quite a few good ones: The Blind Pig Parlour and Supply & Demand are two of my favorites.
JINYA Ramen in Buckhead. I've been to many ramen places —from hole-in-the-wall to upscale — and this is one of my favorites!
Our music scene is incredible, and we have a good mix of genres so buy a ticket to see a show! Definitely check out Smith’s Olde Bar (American pub-style, with pool tables), Terminal West (foundry-turned-killer event venue), and The Fox Theatre (local gem and former movie palace with incredible interior design).
Taking a stroll on the Atlanta BeltLine. It's a nice way to explore the city by foot, and you'll come across a bunch of hidden gems along the way, Ponce City Market, New Realm Brewing, Krog Street Market, and more depending on where you are and where you go.
Plan for traffic, keep an eye out for celebs (movies and tv shows are filmed here all of the time, and a lot of music artists live here), pack a variety of outfits (ATL weather is fickle). That's three, but oh well — you got two bonuses!
