Bin's Guide to ATL

ATL Neighborhood: West/NW Atlanta

My favorite thing about Atlanta …

The culture and environment.  Atlanta is truly a melting pot of the best people, music, art, events, and food. Another one of my favorite things about ATL is the trees. ATL is one of the few cities that has an abundance of trees throughout the city, and it is why we are called the "city in a forest", with 36% of the city covered in trees.
Plus we have the best rap music/scene in the country.

Go-to drink spot …

JCT. Kitchen + Bar. While grabbing a drink, be sure to get their award-winning “Angry” mussels, they are out of this world.

Secret spot to grab a bite …

Cape Dutch.  Hands down my favorite restaurant in Atlanta. Perfect ambiance, amazing service, and their executive chef Philippe Haddad will take your tastebuds on an adventure.

My local favorite ...

Running/walking/hiking by that Chattahoochee River! I really enjoy balancing city life while still enjoying nature, and doing that in Atlanta is not only possible, but I love it.

You can’t leave ATL without …

Going to a concert or show at the Tabernacle. This venue one of a kind. The Tabernacle was built in 1910 as a large church and has transitioned into one of the prettiest venues in the country. It still has the balcony seating and the pipes of the original organ behind the stage. Next-level!

My #1 insider hack …

Atlanta treats snow like the zombie apocalypse. Lawlessness and chaos ensue. It. Is. Great. (As long as no one has to go to work).
