All My Sons

Modernizing a Four-Generation Legacy Brand Without Losing Its Soul

Every moving truck tells a story, and few tell one as personal as All My Sons. What began with a great-grandfather’s ice cream truck grew into a four-generation family business built on trust, hard work, and showing up for people during one of life’s most stressful transitions. But somewhere along the way, the brand stopped keeping pace with the company behind it. All My Sons had quietly built proprietary technology, driver safety tracking, and streamlined booking, real, modern innovation, but none of it was visible to the people who needed to see it.

The tension was clear: how do you appeal to younger buyers, high-end movers, corporate partners, and adult children coordinating care for aging parents, without alienating the loyal, multi-generational audience that built the business in the first place? Declining organic traffic made the stakes even higher. All My Sons needed a brand that could hold heritage and progress at the same time.
Marketwake partnered with All My Sons on a full brand transformation, messaging, logo evolution, visual identity, photography direction, and a complete website redesign, all built around one idea: a modern legacy brand that honors where you’ve been while feeling optimistic about where you’re going. The Marketwake team focused heavily on remarketing to consumers through elevated paid media campaigns, event sponsorships, co-branded social media giveaways, and nurturing existing email contacts. Check out this E-commerce marketing case study to see the results.
brand positioning

Talking Like a Family, Not a Franchise

Moving is one of life’s most emotional, stressful transitions, and the messaging had to meet people there. We built a voice that is comforting, approachable, and no-nonsense, the kind of tone you’d expect from someone you trust. At the center of it all sits a simple mission: peace of mind, every step of the way.
brand identity

New Logo, Same Legacy

The All My Sons logo is the most visible, most recognizable asset the company owns, painted on trucks across the country. That kind of equity doesn’t get thrown away, so we didn’t. Instead, we evolved it, exploring directions that modernized the mark for digital-first contexts without sacrificing recognition. The result is a scalable logo system built to hold up everywhere the brand shows up, from a moving truck to a mobile screen, without breaking.
brand System

A Complete, Modern Brand System

Every visual decision, from color to type to photography, was built to reinforce the same idea: approachable and premium, never sterile or transactional. We preserved the brand’s core green as a nod to its history, then modernized how it’s applied and built out a supporting palette to bring the system into the present.

Photography became a central pillar of the new identity rather than an afterthought. We set a direction focused on real human interaction, then led a photo and video shoot to capture the energy behind the new brand, images that feel like the people All My Sons serves every day.
WEb Design

Bringing It All Together

The website became the primary vehicle for introducing the new All My Sons to the world, the place where messaging, identity, and photography all had to work as one unified experience. It needed to resonate with every audience persona at once: the longtime customer, the first-time mover, the adult child managing a parent’s relocation, and the corporate partner.

We led with peace of mind and ease of use, optimizing the user journey so people across every market All My Sons serves could find exactly what they needed, fast. The result is a modern digital presence that finally reflects who All My Sons has always been, and where they’re headed next.
