Transforming a Coconut Water Brand’s Online Storefront to Drive Sales

Coconut water brands can be found almost anywhere these days, so newcomer 100 Coconuts was looking for a way to stand out in a highly competitive market. Founder Gregory Lowe knew that if they could get their product in a customer’s hands, the taste would sell itself—especially to those who don’t normally like coconut water. The green coconuts they sourced from Vietnam had a sweeter, more natural taste perfectly preserved by their 100 Coconuts cans.
 
People needed to hear the story, though. More importantly, they needed an easy way to buy 100 Coconuts online. That’s where Marketwake came in. The eye-grabbing visuals and copy we created were just one piece of the conversion puzzle. To craft a more shoppable website for the 100 Coconuts brand, our team started by transitioning the site from WordPress to Shopify. The 100 Coconuts team wanted to simplify conversions, enhance the checkout process, and improve order tracking to provide a better customer experience.
On top of this, though, our team also needed to find ways for 100 Coconuts to stand out. To do this, we first analyzed the competitive landscape to understand market trends, identify key players, and uncover potential opportunities for storytelling and design elements. Our strategy involved gathering audience insights, identifying key value props, and establishing a voice and tone that truly reflected the 100 Coconuts personality.
