PROBLEM

Sonar experienced rapid growth over the past couple of years and wanted to make a move to ground its brand a bit more and enhance the user journey on its site.

They wanted to better illustrate the value their product could bring to all types of audiences and elevate the brand presence a bit.

SOLUTION

First, we expanded their brand color palette and created a secondary and tertiary tier of colors. This balanced out the boldness of their brand and gave it a more sophisticated look.

We then concepted the new look and feel of the site and mocked up all of the pages in separate design and development phases. Next, we templatized the sub-navigation pages, which featured specific audiences and features of the product, to make sure the new site was scalable in the future.

Finally, we optimized for Core Web Vitals to improve site speed and user experience for a site that’s equally beautiful and functional. We ended up fully developing a stunning new site on an expedited timeline.

Before

We begin every project by building 2-4 mock site concepts to finalize the visual direction of the site. These concepts will include refreshed color palettes and brand design cornerstone elements (i.e. photography treatments, iconography).

After

The goal of the wireframe stage is to outline user experience, the flow of data, and the visitor journey across the site. The wireframes don’t include any designed features, but instead will focus on ensuring the journey is accurate and the user experience is intuitive and streamlined.
