How Marketwake helped reimagine the athlete endorsement platform with a fresh rebrand and a new high-performance website.

Based in Denver, CO, Icon Source is an athlete endorsement platform that connects brands and athletes through a secure online marketplace. In 2021, Icon Source found itself at the forefront of an up-and-coming industry. NIL (a brand new opportunity for college athletes to make money off of their name, image, and likeness) went into effect on July 1, 2021, shaking up the athlete endorsement landscape nationwide. 

Icon Source came to Marketwake with aspirations of elevating their brand and driving more conversions on their website. They wanted their website to not only be educational for NIL, but also speak to each of their audiences: college athletes, professional athletes, universities, agents, and brands.
